Casey Tuckpointing just completed a brick pointing and waterproofing job at my home. Casey was very accommodating and easy to reach and dealt with any issue we had. In addition, we are very happy with the quality of the work. The brick pointing portion of the job on our 80 year old home made our home look new along with a new front stoop, adding to an already great job. Recently I needed to have tuck pointing and lentils replaced on my house, I've seen a lot of bad tuck pointing jobs and did a little research on how tuck pointing is supposed to be done. We hired Casey Tuckpointing to rebuild the north and west parapet walls, chimney, and tuckpoint the entire building as was necessary of our 100 year old landmark building. Over the years several other mason contractors worked on the building. None provided the knowledge and expertise as Casey Tuckpointing. They provided an exceptional service from their adherence to the building details in order to rebuild to the original specifications, securing the proper permits form the City, providing a work crew that were excellent craftsman, polite and extremely hard working, and returning the yard and surrounding area to perfect condition. Of the three bids obtained from contractors for the work, they were not the least expensive; however, they provided a detailed summary of the work to perform and extras that may result from the removal and rebuilding of the structure. I would not hesitate recommending Casey Tuckpointing. They returned the building to its original beauty.

I highly recommend Casey Tuckpointing for a job completed way beyond my expectations. A car crashed into our curved perimeter wall around our townhome and a large section was damaged and was moved off the foundation. I received a favorable quote for demo & rebuild the damaged portion of the wall that included permitting, material & labor shortly after the Casey Tuckpointing owner made an onsite visit. Once the contract was inked & permit was in place, the work was scheduled. The crew was punctual & gave me play by play so I always knew what was targeted for completion by the end of each day. The work was done expertly and efficiently from demo of brick and coping stones to orderly rebuild with new bricks matched compatibly to existing ones that you can't distinguish the new section from the new one & masonry appearance is blended perfectly. The crew was veey experienced grinding out and filling mortar evenly between bricks to avoid gaps. The work area was tidy and secured at the end of each day. Any neighbor concerns were managed and any questions I had about the process were always handled promptly and professionally. The crew worked some days in inclement weather (cold, windy) and around periods of rain/snow, promptly resuming work as soon as the precipitation ended. The results are stunning. Passersby have taken notice of the quality workmanship and have already hired Casey Tuckpointing for their masonry repair projects. Now I can sleep at night! My chimney was in need of repair, and I kept putting it off as I never found a company I felt had my best interest at heart, and would not fleece me . So when I spotted Casey's crew across the street, I was totally impressed with their work standard and made the decision to get an estimate. Not only did I get a fantastic estimate, I also got some advice on my front porch broken slabs, another project on the long finger. So the next day I was setup for my new chimney, and I added the porch repair. Workers showed up early, got right down to business, what a professional, organized crew. I am so impressed with my new chimney and my porch redo. Amazing hard workers. Great clean up and so respectful of the neighbors property. It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Art from Casey Tuckpointing. My overall experience with them was great. I needed a lintel replacement, chimney repair and stucco job done on my 3 story high backyard wall and garage wall in busy part of Chicago city. I explain to Mr. Art what I needed to be done and he did exactly what I needed and suggested more favorable ideas which I was pleased with. My expectation of the completed job was exceedingly beyond what I thought, it was great and well done. I have to say they kept the side job clean when everything was completed. Art, his father, Casey and their crew did a great job tuckpointing and preforming other brick work to our 100 year old home. After Art provided me the estimate and secured the permit, they started work within a week. The owner, Casey worked with the crew throughout the week that they were there. Art and his crew went beyond the scope of the estimate and performed some additional work the building needed. I found Art to be very trustworthy. He verbally quoted me an amount for the additional work that needed to be done and that was exactly the amount he charged. The employees at Casey Tuckpointing are old school and work as a team. They know what a honest day of work is. I watched the entire job from beginning to end and was very impressed by the pride they took in their workmanship.
